Or perhaps he sensed the electrifying suspense leaping from the door knob, the foreboding heat radiating from it. In any case, being trapped like a mouse in a cage, realisation seeps in - he has no choice. Facing a possible death, he stands up to the plate. Sucking in his breath, he wraps his wiry, skeletal fingers round the knob, and as he does, goosebumps rise and expand in their number, multiplying up his arm, waiting for the shock to sink in, that mind-numbing pain, sending him reeling backwards..The Door, Part II

The Lost Lover.Leaning over the same spot where she had been just a year and a half ago stirred within her something familiar. Something of the past. Watching the waters roll by, the fountain spewing its life-sustaining goodness over the shining matter covering the surface of the reservoir, she felt a tug on her heart strings, reminiscent of.. something.
